The cottage is fully equipped for self -catering but if you don't feel like cooking, guests are right next door to our award-winning restaurant, The Garden Cafe.

As you can see, the cottage has one of the most spectacular views of the River Wye and is set in two acres of beautiful woodland, which you can see behind the cottage. Guests are welcome to walk and picnic in the grounds which are a haven for wild life.

The Garden Café & Gallery is situated in beautiful Lower Lydbrook on the bank of the River Wye, set within the grounds of Lydbrook House.The restaurant itself is in the converted Malthouse extension, which was originally used to process the malt for local beer.Guests can dine inside with a view of the open plan kitchen or, if the weather is fine, in the beautiful garden outside.
Our award-winning food is freshly cooked to order from the finest seasonal organic/free range ingredients and is sourced from local producers wherever possible.Indeed many of the herbs and vegetables are grown in our own kitchen garden.
